The Power of Child Education for Breaking the Chains of Poverty
Millions of children in developing countries face immense challenges, including poverty, lack of access to education, and food insecurity. In many cases, the death of a parent forces children to take on adult responsibilities at a very young age. GFA World’s Child Sponsorship Program seeks to make a difference in these young lives and break the chains of poverty by providing access to education, nutritious meals, and medical care. By supporting this program, donors have the opportunity to be part of transforming entire communities through the love of Christ.

Imagine you are a 13 year old girl living in a developing country. Your mother recently passed away and your father spends most of the day working far from home. You are now left to cook, clean and look after your siblings.
Your father works hard to earn money for food, but at the end of the day, there’s not enough left for you and your siblings to pursue an education. How would you feel if you were the parent and you could not afford to send your kids to school? Unfortunately, the lives of many families in developing nations are much like this one.
In fact, 58 million children around the world do not go to school. This means that they may not even learn to read or write, but just having these basic skills would give them access to better, more sustainable job opportunities and a chance at a brighter future.
The good news is that G F A World’s Child Sponsorship Program offers children an opportunity to go to school at no cost to the parents. Our program offers things like free education, a free meal, and medical checkups to children and poverty.
These children finally have hope by learning subjects like reading, writing, and math. The daily meal helps prevent malnutrition, one less thing for the parents to worry about. By supporting GFA World, you can help give children an opportunity for a brighter future.
