Christian Literacy Classes for Women: Helping Believers Read the Bible
Christian literacy classes for women are opening the door for believers to read the Bible for themselves and grow in faith with confidence. Through these classes, women gain reading and writing skills while also developing personally, socially, and morally within their communities. This work shows how Christian literacy classes for women can strengthen families, deepen biblical understanding, and create lasting change in villages through transformed lives.

First, I like to talk about our believers in our churches because most of them, when we look at the majority of our women in our churches, they are not able to read the Bible because they are illiterate. And you see them come to the church, they just listen to the pastor and they go back with whatever they received from the pastor. They can’t even memorize God’s word. So we thought of first helping our believers, helping to read the Bible themselves so they have something in their hand to read more about, learn more about God and understand deeper truths of the Bible.
By attending this literacy class, every woman we want to see them developed on their personal and social level. That’s one of the main focus. And then also the moral values like how they need to live, why, what are the principles they need to learn to leave us a good responsible citizens.
These women who attend our classes, they are learning and they are able to impact other families in their village, in their community. One of the things that makes me so excited is to see these thousands of women who attend our literacy class. They are able to read and write, especially if I talk about our believers, they’re able to read the Bible. They are able to know more about God. That makes me so happy to keep developing this project even in the years to come. ♪ ♪
