Why Should I Donate to Missionaries?

Pastor Pesach had a successful career as a police inspector. He had a seemingly fulfilling life, but he lacked true peace. After he heard the Good News of Christ and experienced God’s grace, he resigned from his job to follow God’s calling into full-time ministry. His first mission was to bring Jesus’ message to his village, where no church existed.

Pesach’s faithfulness produced a movement. He established the first GFA church in his region. As his ministry expanded, local resistance was high. People rejected him and his family. However, he persevered because he was driven by love for his community and a belief in the life-changing power of the Good News. A pivotal moment occurred when a woman brought her son, Sima, to see him. Sima had been struggling with a debilitating eye condition, and after Pastor Pesach prayed for him, his eyesight was miraculously restored. This healing moment opened Sima’s heart to the truth, and he began to follow Christ. His faith led him to Bible college and, later, into ministry.

Sima’s transformation didn’t stop there. He became a pastor, and today, he serves in areas where the Good News is still a rare message. His church-planting efforts have led to the formation of at least 12 fellowships, each filled with people who have encountered Christ. Many others from Pesach’s community, mentored through GFA established churches, have also gone on to share God’s love as missionaries. This ripple effect continues, reaching beyond what anyone could achieve alone.
