Support Christian Missionaries: Donate to An Eternal Cause

Support Christian missionaries as they spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, help change lives and offer hope to the hopeless. GFA World national missionaries are effective at conveying the Good News and addressing some of the critical physical and emotional needs of people in some of the poorest parts of the world. GFA-supported missionaries, in their dedication, have helped many people find hope.

Modern Christian missionaries, equipped with the necessary tools and training, serve as leaders in Christian missionary activities. They do more than preach the Word of God. They build hope and transform lives! Our missionaries are trained to identify and respond to the needs of communities, whether it is for clean water, education, medical care or shelter. The Good News is not only something to hear; it is something to be seen and felt.

There are many success stories of how supporting Christian missionaries has made a difference, and Shmuel’s is one of them.[1]

At the age of eleven, Shmuel’s world was turned upside down. He had been a healthy child, but then he came down with severe headaches and fever. Despite several visits to hospitals, doctors and even traditional healers, his condition only worsened. Shmuel was given some injections at one hospital, and then he became weaker, bedridden and was paralyzed on one side of his body.

For four years, Shmuel remained confined to his bed, and his family watched in agony, in utter hopelessness. But one day, men from the GFA church in the neighboring area brought the family hope. Hearing about Shmuel’s condition, they came to his house and preached the Good News of Jesus Christ and his healing power. This testimony of faith especially touched Shmuel and his parents. Following Jesus’ acceptance into his life, Shmuel made a miraculous recovery. He began to learn how to walk again with the assistance of a stick. The missionaries’ prayers and faith in God exemplify James 5:16, which states, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (NKJV).

After Shmuel’s healing, he and his family grew in faith and became closer to the Lord. “If I live, I live for the Lord. And if I die, I die for the Lord,” declared Shmuel.

In later years, Shmuel was to face another problem when his bamboo and straw house would no longer shield him from the rain. Once again, GFA-supported missionaries demonstrated Christ’s love in practical terms. The Women’s Fellowship team, led by Sister Meilani, undertook the challenge of constructing a new house made of tin sheets and bamboo for Shmuel. This act of kindness and generosity brought great happiness and gratitude to Shmuel, serving once more as a demonstration of God’s provision for His people.

GFA-supported missionaries have the necessary tools and training to operate effectively in challenging circumstances. Our missionaries work in rural areas, fostering relationships with local people and providing for their spiritual and physical needs. The programs we offer to uplift the poor include child sponsorship, clean water initiatives and vocational training.

Apart from changing the lives of people like Shmuel, GFA-supported missionaries also empower others to join The Great Commission. When you sponsor a GFA-supported missionary, you play a part in sharing the Good News with the people they serve and giving hope to children, families and communities trapped in the cycle of poverty, illness and hopelessness.

Your commitment to GFA-supported missionaries is an eternal investment. The combination of prayer and financial donations enables missionaries to deliver help and hope to people in extreme need. Through your donations and prayers, missionaries can continue their mission to spread the Good News, deliver essential aid and demonstrate Christ’s love in concrete ways.

GFA-supported missionaries gave Shmuel a new opportunity in life. This is a role of Christian missionaries, to be a blessing to others in the name of Christ, often by providing essentials such as safe housing and access to clean water. The Good News shines through GFA World-missionaries, demonstrated through tangible experiences for people in Africa and Asia.

Through his story, Shmuel illustrates the remarkable impact that missionaries have on transforming individual lives and communities.
